Originally, I used to try to filter them but most of the details are beyond my comprehension so just let them install with the hope that they won't upset the status quo of the system. So it seems like maybe an issue specific to windows 10 Window Updates apply automatically on this machine. (Copy/pasted from my response on the other topic)

I've also looked at all my drivers on my Computer and it insists that none have been touched. I've tried standard nwn and nwncx, DM and player. Graphics are turned down all the way as well.

I've done all the standard tricks, CPU affinity/etc with still no change. I've ran NWN fine on my laptop for years, but like you guys, just this past week or so (Haven't played in a week or two) all of a sudden Windows 10 updated and isn't playing nice. But then it's back to repeatedly have to click a button for 5-10-15 seconds for it to actually "click." The only thing NOT frozen in this is the cursor. As soon as initial area loads up my entire screen is nearly frozen, my screen is so frozen I can't even move the camera, if i keep pressing (repeated) the ESC key for a good 10 seconds, I finally get the menu to open up. Playing online is impossible, I can choose a character (Tested on a couple PWs) and the initial area loading I noticed takes more time and stutters a bit.

I don't see much lag if I load up my test mod (Just one single small area) but as soon as I leave it and return to the main menu it's a freeze-fest. I've tried uninstalling my disk version of nwn and installing GOG's but that didn't seem to help either.
